“Freedom based work organization” award
We win! The Democratic Institute – Society and Education (former IDE) is proud to be the first Israeli organization to be recognized as a “freedom-based work organization” by the international organization WorldBlu.
We are delighted to say we are the first Israeli organization to be recognized as a “freedom- based work organization” by the international organization WorldBlu in the annual announcement that took place in Iowa, United States on April 10, 2018.
We now belong to a family of 20 new organization from all around the world which are joining 160 organizations that have received this badge during the last 12 years.
Around millions of workers around the world are a part of extraordinary organizations that promote an organizational culture of democracy and freedom supported by daily systems and practices that make the workplace a space for personal expression, creativity, enjoyment and influence.
Traci Fenton, CEO and founder of Worldblue says that freedom-based organizations is a proven approach that brings impressive business results in growth. We have experienced that as well in the Democratic Institute, in the recent years, during which we systematically apply organizational democracy.
The Democratic Institute received the recognition after an evaluation process that had checked how much we apply organizational democracy on the personal level, the leadership level, and the level or the organizational procedures and systems.
We excitedly anticipate the formal ceremony of “Freedom at Work” Summit in October in San Diego.
